i have an exchange server 2003 sp2 i don't have exchange 5.5 and i did a telent to my server and its work also i have a dns reverse lookup
could you help me pls?

Did you select the recipient from the GAL or from your Contacts, or
from the address completion on Outlook?
If it wasn't from the GAL it's probably an old, leftover, address in
Outlook's address completion cache, or a Contact in your mailbox.

Hi,
Is the Outlook client you send from? Did you test this issue in OWA? As Rich said, that should be wrong email address which is loaded from the cache in Outlook.

thanx alot for your prompt response . the problem automatically solved i assume its a problem on the .NK2 file which cache all contact to facilitate sending emails
